Can you remember the first time you tasted ice cream?🍦 The sensation you felt when your tgue swiped through the chilled foamy surface and the sweetness you had to endure. Yummy right?
Back then I never wanted to run out of it. But, everything finishes you know. Talk of perfumes, creams, toothpaste, after a while they end up in the bin.
The love I tasted didn’t feel like the ice-cream I always longed for, it was different. I thought it was that feeling of euphoria seen in movies, but daily as I lived, life felt much better because of this love.
On December 24, 2019, I met the love of my life. Let me shock you, I’ve actually known him for over 15 years but that particular day I met him, I knew this was it. I remember wearing a black sweatshirt and a brown pleated skirt. I folded my pleated skirt so I could squat behind a car. With tears in that position, I accepted Him after holding back for so long.
Guys I accepted JESUS and that was the best decision of my life. I felt His presence, the aura was so much, I gave up everything. I surrendered all right there that night after hearing the spirit filled preacher speak life into words.
Six years later, the love I Tasted has not changed one bit. In fact, it increases day by day.
Dear Winnie, has there been a moment when you felt you needed someone or something to fill up a vacant space in your heart? You’ve probably tried relationships, sex, alcohol or anything worth taking or having to fill that space but despite all, after the initial high spirited feeling, what follows is a valley of guilt and emptiness.
I introduce to you JESUS, the only one who can fill up that space without requiring anything in return. Give Him a chance in your life, even Now. When you call, He’ll hear, He’s not a heart breaker. Tell Him you need Him, tell Him you’ve tried and failed. Tell Him you desire Him and get ready to surrender everything else.
Yay, and boom!💥 A love that knows know bound will begin to bloom in your heart. This sustaining love is all you need to scale and go through this unfair life.
JESUS’S love for you is all you need to soar. Accept Him and let’s enjoy His love together.
