HIGHLAND LOW

Oh Winnies, I’ve missed you so much 🤍

(Yes… winnies from winners 😉)

Today, I’m doing something different. My past posts have been prose….emotion, faith, love, growth…but today, I’m letting you into my mind in a different way.

This poem captures what goes on in my head sometimes. If you can relate… gosh, I’m really glad 🤍

Enjoy……..

HIGHLAND LOW

Starting bare,

on trembling legs,

no room for rest,

just hunting gems.

Banging doors,

rusted jobs,

urgent runs,

yet heavy loss.

Give up to rot,

or burn the oil

’cause time just runs,

and fear comes unlocked.

Who writes the rules?

The ones with the spoon,

or the ones who scrape and scoop

with nothing left to lose?

The jungle phase,

where many are thrown to race

the fight for more than fame…

but not all survive the voyage😐.

Could you relate to this? What do you think I was trying to say? I’d really love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you for reading 🤍

Till I drop my next post,

Stay chilled and love yourself more 💓
